WHAT ABOUT AFTER I BOOK?
I will send you a short Q&A form to fill out. This helps me prepare for our photoshoot so everything goes smoothly!
AFTER THE PHOTOSHOOT?
There is a four to five week turnaround period for edited photos - once they are finished, I will email you a gallery of photos to choose your 5 digital photos from (regular package)
CAN I BUY EXTRA PHOTOS?
Yes! It's $15 per edited photo from any other photos from your gallery shoot!
Packages do not include all images from the session. Every session fee includes 5 high-res, finished photos. You get to download watermarked, low-res copies of every photo I take, so you can choose your finals. Then, if you decide you would like to purchase additional images (in addition to the 5 included with the session fee) you can do so at the rate of $15 per image. This is done this way because these photos are my babies, and I carefully retouch each one, making sure it’s ready before releasing it into the world.

CAN WE GET FAMILY PHOTOS?
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to jump into a photo with your pup at the end of the session.
CAN I BRING MORE DOGS?
Yes! A second dog is an additional $100, max 2 dogs per session! My default is to shoot them both individually as well as together, but your preference (and their cooperation!) will guide that approach. Most people prefer a combination. Sometimes it’s tricky to coordinate, and I’ll probably get you to help out!
HOW DO THE BACKDROP COLOURS WORK?
I will contact you a few days before your photoshoot to confirm your session. At this time I will give you the option to choose your backdrop colour from the colours I have available at that time.
SAFE FOR OFFLEASH?
100% YES! We like our dogs naked! If you prefer to have a favourite collar on your pup, that is welcome too!
MY DOG IS REALLY SHY, Is booking a photoshoot a good idea?
ABSOLUTELY!
It is difficult to predict how a pup will respond to the environment of a photoshoot. It’s a unique situation- the paper backdrop, the studio lights, the flash. Although we all have taken photos of our dogs, most dogs aren't used to modeling in an environment like this, and it may take them time to adjust, but they almost always do. How much time entirely depends on the dog’s personality. Some pups waltz in and immediately start posing like they were born to model. Others take some time to warm up!

3 important tips when a dog is nervous or shy:
1. Patience is a virtue - I take my time, let the pup sniff around and check everything out. This is our dogs world and we are only living in it.
2. Persistence - Once it’s time to start shooting and your pup has warmed up to the idea we start, then we keep going until we find what works for your dog!

HOW TO PREPARE FOR MY SHOOT?
We welcome you to bring your dog's favourite treats and toys! You can also bring anything you'd like in the photos, prop wise—for example, sweaters, glasses, costumes, their bed, etc.
Not only can a dog's eyes tell a thousand tales, but they are also the windows to the soul, so I recommend going for a groom before the session or at least a good brush/ trim around the eyes.

If you have a high-energy dog, a vigorous play session or a good walk is suggested before the shoot, if possible. It may help them to focus.
Food motivation is my main tool to capture your pup’s attention. It also greatly helps if your pup knows their sit and stay commands.
RESCHEDULING POLICY?
You can reschedule up to 7 days before your photoshoot and your deposit will transfer.
If you reschedule within 7 days before your photoshoot your deposit will be forfeited.
The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations of any kind.
